Sorry it’s taken so long to respond! I don’t check my Substack much these days. Too busy making music! Anyway, I use Distrokid for distribution. Very easy and it sends my songs out to many different platforms, automatically, not just YouTube and Spotify and iTunes and Amazon Music, but about 20 others — most of which I’d never heard of before. So, I definitely recommend Distrokid.
I use Suno for creating the music. At first, I would just use whatever Suno created, as is. Sometimes it was great, sometimes not so much. Now I use Audacity if a song could use some trimming or a fade-out. A while back I started using the free mastering service at Bandlab to punch up my songs—it mostly just improved the volume and clarity (to a small degree). But Suno’s recently released version 4 has a remastering feature that is amazing. I can tell it to remaster my older songs and it not only improves volume and clarity, it often will make the insturments and especially the vocals sound more “real” and less mechanical.
Hi there, love your tunes and the experience you’ve shared.
Just wondering which music distribution platform you used? Any tips on that and mastering tools?

I hope this helps.
Thanks for your guidance! I’ve managed to distribute the music, which you can find here, if you feel like having a listen!

Thanks a lot! Appreciate your pointers! Lots of trial and error I’ve found, with the different tools.
